- EdHak Version 3.0 DEMO 19 Jun 1993
- ----------------------
-
- This demo version of EdHak 3.0 is fully functional except that it will not
- let you save anything from the edit buffer to a file or to disk sectors.
- However, it can be used for viewing any kind of files (even larger than
- your RAM), viewing any area of RAM, and viewing disk sectors. It can be
- run as either an ACC or PRG just by renaming it. For those of you who
- call Compuserve, it is fully functional as an on-line editor for
- Compuserve messages when used in conjunction with the version 1.7 or
- later of QuickCIS by Jim Ness, BUT you must first rename EDHAK3DM.ACC to
- just EDHAK.ACC and then reboot. This is because QCIS looks in memory for
- just 'EDHAK' and not 'EDHAK3DM' for an ACC name.
-
- Rather than let yourself get frustrated at not being able to save files
- or a new configuration to disk, just take a minute and order the real
- version for just $29.95 (or get it from your Atari dealer).

- *** What version 3.01 fixes in 3.00 ***
-
- You can exit the block number dialog (the thing where you get to pick
- buffer size or part of file to load) by hitting Return, as it should be.
-
- In TOS 1.0 (or when running in MultiDesk) if you use the menu to go to
- the config screen, you now don't instantly skip over the first screen.
-
- With a column block marked, the highlighting now never goes beyond the
- edge of the window.
-
- Not exactly a bug fix, but an improved feature: When doing a block
- shift left (Ctl-Space), the block now remains highlighted for easy
- multiple shifts.
